What if there’s bad weather?
I very much believe in embracing whatever weather rolls in on the day of our session, because it will give the photos their own unique lighting and look, instead of always waiting for perfect weather. If it’s bad enough to make our time super lame and freezing, then we can totally reschedule.
What happens if you can’t make it to our wedding?
This would only happen if it were something out of my control (illness, death, act of God, ect), and has not happened yet in my career. I am not legally obligated to do so, but I would do my best to find a replacement photographer that has a similar style to mine and that I trust. If I cannot make it to your wedding your money will be refunded.
Do you help in the planning process?
Absolutely! I love to answer any questions about your wedding day timeline you might have, or share vendor recommendations of my favorite people to work with.
Where are you based out of? Do people travel to you for shoots?
I am based out of Homer, Alaska. I am a four hour drive from Anchorage, or a 30 minute flight. Couples have traveled to me for their session, or their elopement. Homer is absolutely stunning, sitting right on the ocean with the most beautiful mountain views I’ve ever seen. Be warned, some folks come for a visit, and end up staying ;)
Do you have a payment plan?
I do! I require a 25% retainer for weddings and 50% for other sessions to secure your date in my calendar. You can split the remaining payments up however you’d like as long as the full amount is paid in full two weeks before your session.
How many images do you include?
50 - 75 photos / Hour is my average. I never have a cutoff / maximum amount because I don’t believe in cutting off the amount of photos I deliver just to get you to pay me more, like some photographers do. These are your photos - your memories. I am a firm believer in over-delivering.
How long have you been a photographer?
12 years! I started when I was 13 years old.
What is your turnaround time?
6 weeks for weddings and elopements. 3 weeks for sessions.
Do you offer discounts?
No, my prices are firm. Unless you want to meet me in Ireland , or another place on my list :)
Do you have props for newborn sessions?
I have baskets, positioning pillows, swaddles, and bonnets!

How soon should I book my newborn session?
As soon as you have told your family and friends, I should be next. Just kidding, but it really is never too early to schedule your newborn session. Newborns are best photographed when they are 1-6 weeks old.
